Prom season is now in full bloom. Here are some prom tips and tricks going from taking pictures on the beach, where to get corsages and boutonnieres, to dining out in style.

Prom will be held at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort on May 4. Ticket prices are $65, and you buy them from activities, before and after school, as well during lunch. To bring a guest you must have a filled-out guest form and turn it to buy your guest their ticket. The last day to buy a ticket will be May 3. You have a few options for parking nearby the hotel. The theme is a Secret Garden.
You may want to know how to dress? Note comfort is key! You’ll be dancing the night away, so make sure you choose an outfit that you can move around in easily. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks. The most important thing is to find something that makes you feel confident and comfortable in. Since you’ll probably be dancing, you’ll want shoes that are comfortable but still stylish. Lastly, make sure to have fun with it!
For females, a long, flowing dress is a classic choice for prom. A shorter dress with full skirt or a high-low hem would also be great. Foral crowns, headbands or hair clips are a perfect way to add a touch of whimsy to your hairstyle. Delicate jewelry, such as a pendant necklace or earrings with nature motifs, will complement your outfit.
For males, a classic suit and tie is always a safe bet. You can choose a fun color like light blue, lavender or keep it traditional with black or navy. Think thin stripes, paisley or a very subtle leaf print, a pocket square with a floral or nature-inspired pattern is a great way to tie your look together. A cool watch or a statement ring can also be nice touches. For shoes, dress shoes or loafers, or you can choose a classic style like oxfords.
When you are looking for a restaurant, you might want to know what kind of food it has, how good of quality it is and know how much it costs. On google maps when you search by restaurants you will see a group of filters and one of the first ones of those filters is the $ so what does that sign mean.
There are four main stages of the sign which are, $, $$, $$$, $$$$ which refers to the cost per person for the average meal. For the $ is in the range of $1-$13 which will show up fast food places and some cheap restaurants. Now you should most definitely not take your prom date to a fast-food place.
The $$ is in the range of $14-$25, which is mostly all good sit-down restaurants. The places in this price range are where you will want to go to impress your date. Now if you really want to impress your date, there are two more price ranges, which are $$$ with the range of $26-$34; and the $$$$ with being $35 or more per person.
Jumping straight into the places in the $$ price range, let’s start off by looking like some places in DeLand. There is only one that seems a good one to go which is Dobro’s Restaurant, an unpretentious restaurant serving popular Italian dishes, plus Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas. You may want to get there beforehand if possible due to the limited seating inside but great food options, including those with celiac disease an entire page with only gluten free items.
Heading over to Daytona, we have quite a few in the same price range. Starting off with Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen which is a family-friendly chain serving American comfort food with a Texas twist. Going into the $$$ price range the Stonewood Grill & Tavern is American restaurant., This grill serves upscale American dishes in contemporary, classy surrounds. Serving Quesadillas, fish, hand cut steaks, select crafted bowls, salads and desserts. It averages with a solid 4.3 stars with over 3,000 reviews.
The acclaimed Cellar Restaurant has been serving upscale Italian cuisine with a fine dining atmosphere. The restaurant is intimate, the and the food exquisite. Heading into the $$$$ price range the Chez Paul Gourmet Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant which is an intimate, elegant spot with a garden patio and waterfront view that offers refined Italian & French fare. Serving specialty appetizers, soup and salads, Beef, Veal and Poulet, Pasta and From the Sea Items. The restaurant averages with a solid 4.7 stars with over 200 reviews.
If your parents didn’t take enough pictures Where they are holding prom, there will be a photobooth where you can take photos with your friends or with your prom date. Take lots of photos with your friends, your date and your classmates. These photos will be a great reminder of your special night. Familiarize yourself with the prom location, including exits and restrooms.
But if you wait a little before going to check in, you can head outside and there should be a balcony that you can take photos by the edge. If you want to get closer to the beach you can go down a level and take photos just above the beach. Then you can go down to the beach if you want to take photos there as well. Come up with a fun group pose to strike in all your prom photos. Note you don’t have do it before prom and after prom.
