Girl Scout cookies only come around once a year, from January to April, so we have to prioritize the little time we have while they are on sale.

Cookies are only available for a short time because it's just one part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Girl Scouts sell cookies to teach them entrepreneurial skills and to help fund other experiences and activities they do throughout the year.
You can usually find Girl Scouts selling cookies outside local shops, like Winn-Dixie or Walmart, but you can also go online and use the cookie finder. The cookie finder uses your zip code to find the closest cookie booths to you.
The cookies cost $5 for a regular box of cookies but can be up to $6 for gluten-free cookies. Not only does the cookie finder tell you where they are selling but also what day and hours they will be there selling cookies, too.
You can also purchase cookies online. If you already know a Girl Scout, you can ask them about ordering online and they can give you their cookie website or their mobile app. If you don't happen to know a Girl Scout, you can use the cookie finder, also.
There are no new cookies this season but there are still lots of Girl Scout cookies on sale including fan favorites like Thin Mints, Trefoils, Lemonades and more. Their gluten free cookies include Toffee-tastic and Caramel Chocolate Chip.
Some cookies I would suggest trying if you haven't already are, of course, Thin Mints and Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel Chocolate Chip or if you're looking for something will no chocolate Lemonades or Do-si-dos. Caramel deLites have caramel, coconut on top of chocolate, with chocolate strips, and Do-si-dos is a cookie sandwich with a peanut butter filling.
Some cookies have different names depending on where you buy them. For example, Caramel deLites can also be called Samoas, or Peanut Butter Patties are Tagalongs. This is because the name depends on the licensed baker. Girl Scouts use two different licensed bakers, either ABC Bakers or Little Brownie Bakers. The cookies still look and taste the same, but their names and recipes can be a little different.
